OiOi messenger and P3?

Does any one know if the OiOi messenger diaper bag's strap will fit over the handles of the P3?

I was going to order the Black/Charcoal Dot w/ lime green piping until I found out it is b/o until May 1 - which is my due date.

I also like the Poppy Print.

What are your opinions on the poppy print with the black sable P3? OR should I wait for the dot print - which may arrive after the baby?

I don't know how the P3 handles compare to a Maclaren Volo, but I never had problems with my OiOi Dot over my Volo stroller bars. You have to be a little careful though because the OiOi Messengers don't have the adjustable strap, so if the bag is really weighed down, it can make the stroller "tippy".

I would check if the Poppy print is a printed canvas. If so, I would wait for the Dot. The Dot is a nylon material which resists stains and messes no problem. I have had mine for over 3 years now and it still looks brand new!

FWIW...did you know that the Oi Oi Purple/Lime Messenger is available on several websites for $50.00??
I know you probably have your heart set on one of the other colors...but I thought I'd let you know.
I just got one (purple)..& I think it's really pretty!
I also have a Black Sable P3 & I think they would look fine together.
That's the great thing about the Black Sable...almost everything looks good with it!!
Although I haven't tried it yet...I am SURE the strap will fit over the handles without a problem.
ETA: Okay, I just went & tried it...it fits over the P3 handles perfectly :-)!!

Thanks for the feedback. I am going to wait for the dots. Just found out the hospital will give me a black diaper bag, so at least I'll have that the first few weeks.

Also, in addition to the hospital bag, it's unlikely that you'll give birth on a Sunday, come home on Wednesday, and plan an all-day outing at the mall, complete with lunch and a movie for Saturday! know what I mean?
