not overwhelmed and definitely loved the added business. At the end,
she told me that because she has had a good experience, she would

This thread started my obsession with their bags. Esp. the

I bought the Fourmi W in Red and the Bastille in Teal. LOVE THEM!!! The Fourmi W is so spacious, I can even fit my laptop in there with all my normal baby stuff too. :)

Just got back from visiting the Un-Apres store...Rissa is VERY nice! After checking out the bags (all really cute) and lusting after some of the smaller ones, I decided to be practical and get a bag that can also hold diapering stuff...the Transit from the summer collection in an army green color. It's cute and best of all it solves the only beef I had with my Fourmi...a lack of mini compartments. The Transit has two pockets on the outside, three little velcro pockets on the inside, and a zippered pocket with a topside pocket also on the inside. The main inner pocket has a mesh hot pick lining, while the pockets on the outside have the satiny lining.

No problem. I ordered 3 bags for myself, not because I am being run over by extra money, but because I had to in order to make the order up to $1500 to qualify for the initial group order that started the whole thing. LOL. I finally got my bag today and DH was not too amused. he he he... I now have the Black Fourmi W regualr size (which is smaller than I expected. See my reply below to Mariana's post), but I still like it. My favorite has got to be the Ingrid. I LOVE it. I got the black one. Now am thinking maybe I should get the red one too and risk my marriage... (Red Ingrids may have been sold out...) It is a great size and I really love the 3 compartments concept. I also have a red Cadix small now. Am still trying to adjust to the size: not used to the long shape. But it is still very cute.

You are very welcome. I also enjoyed the discount myself, so it's actually kind of "self serving"... ;-)

Could I ask what laptop you have? I can just fit my PAPER notebook in one of the outside pockets and cannot see any smallish notebook computers that I have seen to fit in there. But now you have given me hope! (When I saw the bag today I was blaming myself for not realizing that Marisa's Mac notebook fits in her Fourmi W because Mac laptops are COOLER hence smaller! lol)

I have the 12" Apple Powerbook, and yeah, they are really small! The dimensions are about 8.5" x 11" x 1" ....about the size of a stack of paper. To give you another point of reference, I was also able to fit my Powerbook in a Timbuk2 Metrp Mini!

I finally ordered mine yesterday! Rissa was SUPER nice and I should get my back in about 5 days. :)

I also got the Fourmi W in black. I was tempted to get the red one, but chickened out and got the 'safe' color. Also, I wasn't sure if the red was a TRUE red? I'd want it to be a real true red to match the trim on my Safari P3. ;)

This is an amazing discount and I'm glad you were okay "going public" with it. I hope everyone follows the rules -- very generous of you and Rissa.

Sorry you were disappointed in the size of the Fourmi W. I think you'll find it is deceptively small -- it looks small, but holds a LOT.

Now you just need to find a great price on a new 12" Mac laptop.... hee hee. I got an "educational discount" for $200 off for working at a university -- if you take any classes, or know someone who does, you'd/they'd qualify! True, it FITS in the Fourmi W, but it makes the bag quite heavy. Not ideal of every day, so you're really not missing out. I prefer the weight of paper folders.

BTW - I can't remember if I ever answered what stroller I have -- it is a Maclaren Mod Quest in shale.

oooooh...so this is not an exact science BUT according to my ruler it is 13x10x5 (w/ height being the 10") and it has 10" straps. hope that helps.

if you're thinking of using the discount to get the transit, please note that only the summer collection has the inside velcro pockets (that's the green, blue, & beige colors). they have black, purple, & other cool colors in the store but these older models didn't have the compartments i wanted.

From what I could tell in the pictures, the violet Funny (which is a similar style)from the Winter 2004 collection has sage colored straps. I didn't ask specifically as I figured the color combinations would be the same for these two bags. If they aren't sage, oh well, I am still getting a beautiful bag no matter what color the straps are!

Now if I can just refrain from calling back and ordering another style....

So I broke down and called. I was torn in the end between a violet or a black Fourmi W, I was almost relieved when Rissa said that they were out of violet and had the black, fate made the chioce :) I'm so excited. DH walked in while I was ordering and I informed him that there was a package arriving for me that he could put a nice card on for mother's day.
