This is a great backpack. Holds a ton of stuff without being ridiculously big (like the lands end diaper backpack). More feminie looking and not really sporty/manly looking like most non-diaper bag backpacks. Has a light interior color with decent organization for a backpack. Like the side water bottle pockets, sippy cups fit great in there without really infringing on interior space. Like that the adjustable straps don't hang down like on most backpacks, but not crazy about the yoke style, but maybe I'll get used to it with time. The front of the bag also has a headphone port so you could listen to mp3 or cd player.

This is a great size for all of mom's stuff and 2 kids (mine are 2 years and 6 months). It has enough structure to stand on its own but is lightweight. Very comfortable to wear.

That is really cute and I love the pink interior! Where did you get this? Do you know if they make other styles of bags? I love the organization - sunglass holder, side bottle pockets, etc. That could work for me!

Thanks for sharing!

I ordered it off ebags when they had 15% off and free shipping (lately I've noticed that on Sundays they have sales).

They have another style, Cosmo, that I'm waiting to get. It is smaller. I got it either as a "purse" for me when I'm by myself or as a backpack for my 2 year oldson. I'll have to see about size when it comes, I may have to order him his own. He got really excited when I opened up and checked out the helix, so I'm sure he'd love his own bag. Ebags doesn't have any more of the beige.

www.dakine.com is their website. Don't really offer any better pics or descriptions than what you can find on ebags. They also have a lifetime guarantee, but I'm sure there are exceptions.

Although they don't have any now, Sierra Trading Post has carried some of the Dakine bags at good prices. I got the Go Go pack that is on ebags for $24.99 for < $10 shipped from STP. At first I thought it was kind of small and was going to send it back, but after I paid to ship it back it wasn't worth doing so I kept it. It has actually worked well as my travel or weekend purse. It holds more than I thought since I can fit my digital camera in the case, wallet and essentials in it with no problem. I have the charcoal/powder color combination (#7).

I saw this, put it in my shopping cart, had to go take care of my fussy baby and by the time I got back to it a little later they were already sold out. I was very dissapointed becaused I think they were $5.

Sierra Trading Post has a different style backpack for $4.95

Also, here's a coupon for 20% off

Sierra also has the timbuk2 mini metro for $29.95 in light blue

As much as I'm not a fan of messenger bags, timbuk2 makes a great bag, love the ballistic nylon.

If you scroll to the bottom it shows that the backpack is not available. I was wondering why it didn't come up when I searched for Dakine and that must be why.

they must have sold out by the time you looked at because they only had limited quantity when I ordered. you should check back frequently because earlier this week they had another color that also sold out.
