...and the other end to either a toy or snack trap thing. I am about to order a couple snack traps, I looked at babiesrus this weekend and they didn't have them there so I guess I am left with ordering them. (Where do you think would be the best place?) Anyway I would like something to hook to it so my dd, who loves to throw things can't toss it on the ground all the time???
I am also looking for some kind of strap thingy to hold her sippy cups too in case any one knows of somethng that would work for that. The cups don't have handles, they are the straw type. Any thoughts or ideas, maybe there is something that I already own that I could use for that???? I don't know just throwing it out there??

One other question, with the snack traps is it worth it to get the extra lids, like the cover one???

TIA
Shannon

www.onestepahead.com may have the straps, I remember seeing them online, but don't remember where. You could also try a pacifier strap. How old is your dd? If she throws the cup, even though it is still attached w/ the strap, she may not realize all she needs to do is to pull up on the strap to get the cup back (had this problem w/ my ds when he was still rear facing in the carseat and it was almost impossible to retrieve the cup for him). Also, as far as the extra lids go, I don't think it is worthwhile...it is only a matter of time before they figure out how to take the lid off and find it is much easier to get the snacks without the lid (took my ds a couple weeks to figure this out). Although, now that he is 2, I only put the lid on when we are not at home, and he does keep it on then...I think he realizes that he doesn't want to snacks to fall out, but when we are at home, he takes the lids off.

I think you may be looking for this product, The Drink Deputy...
http://www.drinkdeputy.com/

I haven't seen any use in getting the extra lids - I have two Snack Traps for two kids. But if I could, I would get extra Snack Traps (not just the lids, but the lids and cups). If you are interested in the extra lids, I'm pretty sure www.onestepahead.com has them, but you can also get them from here:

I use both the Drink Deputy previously mentioned (for Avent Magic Cups), and the Mommy's Helper "Bottle Keeper" (for Avent bottles, with a sippy spout instead of a nipple).

Also, I use the Baby Buddy "Secure-a-Toy" to attach the Snack Trap to the stroller, restaurant high chairs, etc.

I did buy a few of the red covers directly from the Snack Trap website, and find them useful because I always keep a "loaded" Snack Trap in my Little Tripper diaper bag. I got sick of using baggies and getting the snacks crushed (I pack stuff in my LT as though they were Tetris blocks, LOL) or bulky snack cups. I just fill the Snack Trap, use the red cover, and put the soft lid in a zip bag to use when needed.

ETA: When I ordered from the Snack Trap website, shipping was only one cent if you bought 3 items!

You can get Snack Traps at www.preciouspersonalities.com - the site is run by fellow BBB member, Julie (jamsmu)! Order a few b/c they are easy to lose!

The lids are good b/c they keep the snacks fresh - although you have to take the other top off to put them on.

Just saw a two-pack snack trap (hard to say more than once!) at TRU in the baby isle...for I think 6-7.00 for both!

I checked abt BRU this weekend maybe I should have check with TRU. Where do you live? I'm in Maine, I wonder if all the stores are carrying them. I guess it might be easier to just order it since it is about 45 minutes to TRU from here.

Thanks
