I have been searching high and low for a small to medium size diaper backpack. I have found alot of cute regular backpacks, but I still need a bottle holder on the side.

I've tried the Land's End and Baby Bjorn backpacks, but they seem just too bulky for every day use. I am currently using a Mackenzie Kids backpack, but I'd like to try to go a little smaller if possible.

Any suggestions?

Have you checked out Chester backpacks? www.chesterhandbags.com They are a great small/medium size, not bulky at all and they have a bottle holder inside. I'd check out their sale page for a great deal (about 50% off). I find all their bags to be super cute and a great size. I've never had any quality problems with them either.

I'd also recommend the Loom Bandicoot. www.loomlife.com It's a fabulous size, can be worn on the shoulder or as a backpack, has two insulated bottle holders, good interior organization, high quality construction, and a detachable mommy purse. I think there are a couple for sale on the Babybags board, if you want a good deal.

Have fun shopping!

Thanks for your response - both of those websites had alot of diaper bags that would be perfect for me (except for the price, of course:) Where can I access the babybags board? I've never heard of it. Thanks again!

If you're not looking for anything too fancy... I purchased the Skyline kids diaperbag backpack (black) off of ebags.com. It's only about $30 + free shipping and I really like it. It's just the right size for me (2 kids- 2 & 4), and has tons of compartments for staying organized, plus 2 side pockets for sippy cups. :-)

I've been using the one from Eddie Bauer successfully for about 3 months now. It has 2 bottle holders on the side - they fit sippy cups really well. I like that the organization is such that I can keep my stuff separate from the baby's stuff. It's about the size of one of those mini-packs.

Rats! I can't find it on the website now, but maybe you could call up CS. I got it for $25. It came in blue and seafoam green colors.

Can anyone tell me where to find the baby bags board? I'm new to these boards and I've never heard of it.

I really like all the baby bags you ladies have posted - so hard to chose which one to buy. I think I may go with a chester backpack because they have nice ones on sale right now. Thanks for all your help!

I wonder if this would work for you...
http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryId=41993&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&parentCategory=8042&cat4=8041&shop_method=pp&feat=dp32

I love the look of this bag. It's so cute. It doesn't say this on the website, but in my catalog it says:

"Mesh side pockets hold water bottles"

You might call customer service to check on it. The price is great!
