I'm on the hunt for the perfect bag. Right now I have a Kecci, which I like except that it seems to be wearing poorly. I've only had it about a month and a half and already it is beginning to frey at the edges of the straps. Also it seems quite prone to snags. Other than that I think I like the size and all the carrying options. If it were a little smaller that would be ok.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a bag with similar options, that would hold up better? I like being able to switch between shoulder/messenger and backpack. I like lots of organization, as well. I can get over a dark interior, but prefer something light. I also prefer the bag to have at least some structure. Any less structure than the kecci and I don't think I would like it. Lastly, and this might be the most difficult - I'd like something stylish and under $100. TIA. Jenn

It's not under $100, but I really, really love my Posh Baby bag. Since I've had it, I haven't used my PPB once, and the Posh Baby bag still looks brand new.

How does it compare size wize to the Kecci? I've been looking at them, but the price just kills me. I wish I could find one second-hand or something.

Here are some other convertible bags to check out:

Loom Bandicoot (www.loomlife.com)
Bumble Bags (www.bumblebags.com)
Fleurville Alpha 7 (discontinued, but you can still find a few stragglers out there)

Out of those three, the Loom is the smallest and the Bumble Bag the largest. All three have wonderful organization, but I think you'll find the most pockets on the Bumble Bag. All three have much stronger structure than the Kecci and are much higher quality.

Hope you find something you like!

Hey Mariana - I went to your website, and it looks like we are basically in the same neck of the woods (At least when you consider there are folks in Germany reading these boards!). Do you know of anywhere in Atlanta that I could see these bags in person? Especially on the west side? I am giving consideration to the bumble bags, posh baby (if I can get one discounted), and who knows what else. These bags are so expensive to buy without having seen them in real life! I want to get it right, kwim? I thought about the bandicoot, but I read where a lot of folks had problems with them. They look so cute though! TIA, Jenn

Actually, I haven't seen the Bumble Bags or Posh Baby around town at all! Maybe you could check with those companies and see if they have any Atlanta-area retailers?
