Comes in black and RED! Was $48 originally.

I've searched the boards for some info on this bag, but haven't found much. It appears to have the same type of closing as LE do-it-all bag, but that's unconfirmed.

Anybody have this bag? Any reviews?

For $29 including shipping I've ordered both colors. Is this how it starts - bag addiction :-)

Thank you!

I've been curious to try the HA diaper bag. I just ordered it in red.

Wow! I was just at the LO outlet today and it's still $30 there! I may have to break down and get one...

Just so you know guys, this *is* very similar to the LE DIA bag, with the doctor's bag opening and everything. The red still has a black interior, but since it opens so wide, you don't have the black hole effect. There is no center zippered pocket, so it's essentially a lot more space for the size of the bag...a few interior pockets (both mesh and regular and I think one or two bottle pockets), but it has more exterior pockets...

My only concern is that it's tall! And it has a framework which may make it difficult to stuff under a carseat or something...but for $12!

I totally stand corrected - the bag is a darker gray color on the interior...don't know why I thought it was black in the store! Two sets of mesh pockets on either long side of the interior and one covered pocket and one open pocket on the short sides.

Finally got it today - nice bag for $12! It reminds me a lot of the newer Land's End DIA. The bag is not as thick as the DIA, so it doesn't stand up as well on it's own, but you can actually use the diaper pad (which is nice and big) as the "bottom" of the bag. This will be a great plane trip bag (since it would fit nicely under the seat and is quite organized on the inside) or car bag!

I ordered 2 black ones. I will keep one if I feel like I "need" it :) . For this price, I think it would make a great shower gift, filled with dipes, a pack of wipes, ointment, baby wash, onesies, etc.

I ordered the red bag on Monday and it arrived yesterday, pretty good service!!

I like the bag, it has a doctor bag type opening on the top, like a previous poster mentioned, and no middle divider, so it is just one big open space on the inside. The inside is black, but the top opens wide so it is not too bad for finding things.

We used it last night to go to a cookout at a freinds house and it was good because we could fold up some a 4'x4' fleece blanket and extra clothing and put it in the main compartment. We also could fit the baby monitor and reciever along with dipes and wipes and toys. Not keen on the bottle pockets, the front and back of the bag have some pockets, and I used those.

Overall it is great for $12. I have an older LE DIA in navy, and I like the Hanna Anderson better. Maybe it is the color. I would probably like the new DIA in red.

One downside. No shoulder strap, just a carry handle. Any idea where I could find a shoulder strap. It looks like there are places on the side where a shoulder strap could attach.

I will be using this bag for times when we will be out for the day or need to take a lot of supplies. I also think it will be good for DS clothes when we are on vacation.

Thanks to the original poster who tipped us off on this great deal!! I am very happy with it!!

I would call Hanna CS. The picture shows a shoulder strap and the description mentions one. They should send you a shoulder strap free of charge.

OK--I am a dork!!! :+

I am packing the bag for another cookout tonight and I find in the bottom of the bag a carry strap!!!

So----it does come with a carry strap.

And I forgot to say there are 4 mesh pockets on the inside of the bag---just a little wide for my Avent bottles, but not wide enough for two in the same pocket.

Still---excellent bag!!

ITA!

I like this a lot more than my LE Backpack bag.

And it holds all the same stuff, and then some. I love that I can hang it off the back of the stroller we have too. I am a pack rat so a comfy shoulder/hand strap is a must, this bag has both.
I love the opening, but agree also that it needs sippy/bottle storage on the outside. That is the only downfall, IMO.

Major find, thank you so much slonic for posting this deal!

I just picked this up last week (in red!) at the outlet. I've been thinking the same thing about an outside bottle/sippy holder. Then a lightbulb went off! I think if I get some strong velcro and attach it to the outside, the Baby Sherpa insulated bottle holders and the mesh bottle holders will attach to the outside since they have velcro on them also. I may also sew a little loop on the bag since the Sherpa holders have a loop to help attach them more securely to the backpack.

Hope this makes sense. I use those Baby Sherpa holders on lots of things! I love them - and I'm not affilated with them in any way.

Thank you so much Slonic! I just got the bags yesterday and LOVE them! This was such a GREAT deal!

The inside is not black, but a grey, so it is lighter in color (no black-hope effect). There are plenty of pockets both inside and outside, but as someone mentioned, a lot of space. I CD my 2 DC, so there is plenty of room for the diapers, covers, wetbag, etc for both.

I got my DH one in Black and am going to get something embroidered on the little outside flap for him.

There are still bags available in black, so if you haven't ordered one, get them before they're gone!

Thanks for the great reviews. I was hesitant to order this bag not knowing if it was going to be big enough but it sounds like it will. I just ordered my bag this afternoon.

After the great reviews, I ordered 2; 1 for me and 1 for a good friend who is due 9/1/05. She lives in ID (I'm in CA) and I'm planning on sending it to her stuffed with all the goodies as a gift (thanks for the idea Cleo).

I was happy to hear the interior of the black bag was grey and you can't beat the price!

I just received my red HA diaper bag today. It is a great deal for $12.

It IS similar to the LT DIA, but definitely smaller. I can fit the HA bag inside my DIA quite easily. The red HA has a dark grey, almost black interior, which I don't like -- the light blue interior of the DIA rocks! There are interior mesh pockets in both bags. The DIA has 2 exterior bottle pockets, the HA has none.

The HA bag has a front parent zip pocket that is a nice size, but it has no organization pockets (does have a key fob though). There is a smaller mesh pocket on the very front with a zipper that could be used for pacifiers.

On the rear of the HA bag there is a sleeve for the change pad (which is included), and 2 more elasticized mesh pockets on the outside of that sleeve.

The HA bag d/n stay open as well as the DIA and is more floppy (but not annoyingly so). The bottom isn't solid, so it will hang down a bit when the bag is packed. The material seems lighter than the DIA, but I noticed a few "hairs" coming from the lining at the top near the zipper, so I'm thinking that the fabric might also not be as durable as the DIA.

The HA bag does come with a nice shoulder strap, with padding, which is one feature that the DIA lacks. Also, the tote handles have this nifty interlocking handle -- LE should incorporate this feature into their bag.

Personally, I don't think the HA bag is large enough for overnight. I am going to try using it as DD's daycare bag (which is what I'm currently using the DIA for). It would make a nice car trunk bag, or a day bag if you are a heavy packer.

Overall, I still prefer the LE DIA for a large bag. I like the interior snap off middle pocket, the size of the change pads (LE's are the BEST) and the bottle pockets. I think the regular price of $29 for the LE bag is a steal. Granted the sale price of the HA was a wonderful bargain, but the regular price of $48 was overpriced.

:)
