A couple good deals I'm considering. I have a T&L large bebe that I use all the time and a Chester classic, that I switch off with.

The Bumble bag has been one that I've been looking at lately and I know people rave about them.

Can someone give me the pros & cons of the BB and/or ST?

Hi Carrie -

I've owned both a BB & a ST and IMHO, here are the pros & cons that I would put together:

Bumble Bag:
1) Pro - Looks less like a diaper bag, IMO. Could pass as a cool, funky messenger bag for work (laptop, folders, etc).
2) Pro - Converts to a backpack (Con - However it is quite wide, some people don't like how it sits on your back).
3) Pro - I think you can actually fit a bit more in the BB than in the ST, without the BB looking *too* stuffed (the ST tends to look "bloated" when really packed).
4) Pro - The metal D-rings that hold the shoulder strap to the bag can double as stroller hooks if you use a carabiner clip.
5) Con - Kind of a floppy bag. Doesn't stand well on it's own
(unless it's really packed and stable at the bottom).
6) Con - May not be as durable as ST. (i.e. bottom of bag is fabric - no waterproof nylon protection at base & no metal feet to protect the bottom when you set it down).
7) Con - No *insulated* bottle holder. (Unless they've changed that feature recently). It does have bottle holders, just not insulated.

Sling Tote:
1) Pro or Con (depending on your tast) - Soft, pliable & stylish vinyl. Not too plasticy (but not as soft as the T&L bags, IMO).
2) Pro - Stroller hooks, messenger strap & tote straps. (Con - The messenger strap is a bit big & bulky though).
3) Pro - 1 insulated bottle holder inside.
4) Pro - Totally durable - Waterproof nylon base, 5 metal feet, vinyl coating, water-resistant interior.
5) Con - Tends to get a bit "bloated" and puffy if really packed. I think I could actually get more into the BB than I could with the ST.

Those are a handful of things I could think of. Both are pretty great bags depending on how much you pack & how you plan on using it.

Suz :)

Great descriptions on both bags. I'm torn... I love the feet on my T&L but someone did mention using the straps on the BB to put on the back of chairs when you're out.

I think with 2 children, the BB might be the better bag for me. Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Thank you! I have been looking for the Chelsey Work to Play bag, and $59 is a great price.
