Does anyone use this for a diaper bag? DS is potty training but c'mon i *need* a new bag! I'm thinking changes of clothes, toys, my stuff, etc and now my hands need to be FREE!

I also want something super lightweight. I rec'd the LL Bean CarryAll bag on Friday but alas, the interior is the dreaded black. Plus it's heavy and dare i say this..too many pockets.

I think i can deal w/ black interior IF it's well laid-out.

Anyone know what color the interior of the LeSportsac backpack is? Is the backpack super lightweight? I have an Eddie Bauer ripstop backpack that i used yesterday and today as a "test!" It's a huge black hole but soooo lightweight empty!

Any suggestions?!?! I'm also eyeing Chester but their website isn't working properly on my computer (mac - doesn't matter if I'm using IE, Safari OR Firefox!) so i can't view all of the backpacks - just the sale ones.

Hi Laura,

I was just in Bloomingdales today in Chicago and looked at a few LeSportsacs. They had one backpack on display. It was solid black inside and out. It was SUPER lightweight. There was a pocket on the outside, but no pockets on the inisde. I didn't try it on for size or anything because I couldn't have a bag without a LOT of pockets inside. I have a hard enough time keeping my bags with pockets organized!

It was really light though, and really cute.

I had a chester backpack but ended up selling it, they have the black interior. I know a lot of other moms don't seem to mind it, but I didn't care for it and that it didn't have much organization. In the main compartment is a a small zippered pocket and their are 2 bottle holders on each side (interior). On the outside of the bag is another zippered compartment that was big enough to hold my stuff. It was a lightweight bag and comfortable. I was just at the Nordstrom Rack the other day, and they had a LeSportsac backpack in a light color and the interior was the same color. I don't think the interior is lined, so maybe whatever the exterior color of the bag that is what the interior color is. It was $68 and only had 1 main compartment with a smaller zippered pocket inside.

Here's some I found on ebags under urban/messenger/girl bags/backpacks:

I'm also a fan of YakPak bags. They have one backpack:

I like the outside pockets, simple design, and good colors. I'd probably go with the red or turquoise to stay girly. :)
