Has anyone tried the new vera bradley messenger?

I saw one at the store the other day, it kinda threw me off since it was a messenger flap with buckets, very different for vera bradley. Just wondered if anyone tried it and what they thought of it.

I saw one yesterday, and one thing I didn't really like was how the flap attaches to the rest of the bag. It has two buckles which I think I'd find annoying.

The new prints are so cute though. There is a really cute green and a cute purple/rose.
