Well I e-mailed Chester and this is what I found out :(
Message from Roseann: 1st e-mail
"Painfully we have decided to discontinue the backpack style bag. It
was not an easy decision to make! We will sell what we have and possibly
(but no promises) re-vamp and come out with another one at a later date."


I than e-mailed her back to find out if the backpacks on the sale page were
going to
be reordered and this was the reply.

Message 2 from Roseann:

"We have one final production run in the
backpacks. It is for the ditsy stripe, multi-stripe, and candy stripe. No,
the ones currently on the sale page are not being reordered."

So for those of you looking to get a backpack this is the deal!!! Including
myself :(
Guess I should pick one soon!!!

Hi Shannon, I'm a huge Chester backpack fan and wrote them recently about its absence from the web site. This is what they replied so fear not!

"Hi Audrey,

Nice to hear from you! We decided this season not to run the back packs and try the new Messenger Bag but we will probably have some new back packs back on the site in mid-fall.
