I've ordered them from ebags & hope at least one of them works. I'll post reviews next week if anyone's interested.

I really like the Kayla tote and look forward to reading your review.

The lightening messenger is no longer available, you must have bought the last one!

I like the looks of the Kayla tote too. It looks like it might be large enough to send for an overnight bag with my daughter. Especially with the yoga mat holder, would make a good blanket and pillow holder?? Can't wait for the review!!!

Yes, the Kayla looks GREAT- very functional maybe not as huge as the MS. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it.

They all look good - and that's a great price on the first JanSport!

What color Kalya did you get? I'm searching for a green bag that I'll like...not sure from the site photos if that one is as bright as what I want.

Looking forward to seeing your reviews!

I ordered the Cornflower (blue). I'm hoping it's a good blue because this is the bag I most want to like.

Pic 2: All 6 bags w/ my free Similac bag & Kecci in this order (L to R, T to B): Jansport Elefunk, eBags Thunder, free Similac bag, eBags Kalya, JanSport Sonic Street, eBags Lightning, Kecci, eBags Lightning 2.0.

I haven't had time to really try this because it looks so small compared to the others. I'll hopefully have a chance later today.

I really like the organization on the front of this one. But the main compartment is a bit black-hole-ish.

This could be a good bag for an everyday big-packer. I'm currently packing for a airplane carry-on for a trip this weekend & it's definitely not bif enough for that. If you pack stuff in every compartment, it gets way too stuffed.

I actually really liked this one.

I'll post below this with pics of each bag.

I may keep this for an everyday bag. Here are some pics of it pretty stuffed.
Front view
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/28464.jpg

Side view
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/28465.jpg

Main compartment. Has a long zipper pocket on the bag & 2 decent eliastic pocktets on the front of that.

Zipper pocket on front of flap.
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/28467.jpg

Zipper pocket underneath flap.
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/28468.jpg

Zipper pocket on back.
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/28469.jpg

Pros: Lots of decent compartments. Pretty color. In theory this is a great bag.

Cons: Interior is black. When you use all the compartments, it gets really stuffed & not as functional as it seemed at first. Also, when stuffed the magnetic closure on the flap will probably not catch.

Pros: Really nice organization. It might even be nicer organization that the Kalya, it's a close call. Orange interior so you can find things. Not huge but definitely big.

Cons: When stuffed, the magnetic closures on the flap may not catch.

Flap open. There's a clip to hold the main compartment together so it doesn't dump.

Zipper pocket on front - one compartment with 2 zipper openings. Supposed to be for a cell phone or something so you have easy access no matter which shoulder you carry the bag. I put diapers in here for this pic - 2 size 3 & 2 size 4.

Main compartment. Long pocket along the back.

Pros: Nice organization. Orange interior. Nice size.

Cons: Kind-of bulky.

This is identical to the eBags Lightning except I think it is deeper & has a padded zipper compartment on the back which is supposed to be for a laptop.

This looks like a great bag but as usual it's probably too big for me. I wonder how it compares to the LL Bean diaper/touring bag.Do you have any other bags you can compare the size to besides the ones in the pictures?

I don't have any other bags. So far I've been able to restrain myself :).

The LLB Touring bag is 11"H x 11¾"W x 4½"D.
The Klaya Tote is 16" x 9.5" x 6". So it's definitely bigger.

Actually, I'm not sure yet. I like the Lightning but I'm not sure if it 'fits' me right. I'm 5'2" so it could easily look like just too much bag. It would probably be higher on my list except I really don't like the color - Wheat, I think. It's just really dull. I'm not sure what I was expecting with a name like Wheat, oh well. I plan to do some more experimentation with them tomorrow. Hopefully one will be the obvious choice & it won't be hard to decide.

WOW! Thank you Allison for all your time and hard work in sharing the pictures, packing them up and posting!!! That takes ALOT of time and was very sweet of you.

How fun to be able to try all those bags...you have inspired me! I may just do the same!!!! I am looking for a good sporty messenger too that is smaller than my dash, but bigger than a small purse ;)

Thanks again!

Just wondering how the kalya tote is working out for you or is the pocket issue (when being stuffed, the pockets are not that functional) is a big problem with this bag?

Thanks!
