I'm due in 6 weeks and I would like to find a good diaper backpack that isn't too expensive. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Shannon

I have the Lands End backpack which has worked really well for us for travel. It's too big for me for everyday use (I used a LE Little Tripper for the entire first year!) $40, which isn't bad.

I used to have the Lands End one and it was great. Maybe like the pp said a little big for everyday bag but that all depends on what you pack. I have since sold it and now have a PPB boxy backpack, a bumble bag and a Kecci which all have a messenger/backpack option which is what I like now. The Keccci is the cheapest one and has some great prints if you want something fun. The bumble bags are a bit more but again great prints and organization.

Hi Shannon, I love diaper backpacks! Here are ones that I like:

Small size - chester backpack. The current style is being discontinued which is sad because it's GREAT. They are selling at a great price now: http://www.chesterhandbags.com/default.asp of $60 - look in the sale items section. Use the code "AUGSEP05B" for free shipping and 20% for BB users through Sept. I have 2 of these bags and use them a lot for quick errands. They hold a surprising amount and are pretty tough.

Medium size - I have a Kecci - a little cheaply made but pretty and can be converted to messenger. Look for co-ops.

Large size - I agree with PP - Lands end is a good one

Happy shopping,

Audrey, mother to Graham

Hi Audrey,
They are out of the chester backpacks but I was planning to get a regular one. Where does it ask you for the code? Or do you have to send email later??
Also do you know where I can see pics of the inside of the regular bags?
Thanks,

I'm another Chester lover.

I also love my Chester backpack but I can see how it's not for everyone- black interior and not many pockets but I got around it using colored cosmetic bags.
I got mine on the website sales page and if I recall you enter the code in the comments section. For pics, you can do a search of the BB boards and I think there are pics posted on the babybags yahoo group if you are a member. But the inside is hard to view because it's a black interior.

I really like my Eddie Bauer Sports diaper backpack! I bought it at Target for around $35. It has plenty of space and compartments for you to put bottles/ sipper cups, keys, pens, etc. It also comes with a changing pad and waterproof pouch. I just checked www.target.com and they are selling the backpack for $34.99. If you sign up for their mailing list, you can save and extra 10% on your online order. I bought a couple baby things at Target and I am very happy with their products. Good luck on your delievery!!!

I just got a shopping cart cover and noticed they had some Mommy Bags which I am begining to think are the Kecci bags. I have a friend that has a Kecci and she loves it. I do know the backpack straps on them don't come off, they zipper up in the back pocket. Again, I am not totally sure if this was a Kecci or not, it was called a Mommy Bag.

Good luck,
danielle
