helmut in a bike trailer

How do you make it comfortable for a 1 year old to wear her helmut in the bike trailer? We have an In-Step and the sling seat pushes her head forward when she is wearing her helmut - not very comfortable for her neck at all. It also pushes her helmut askew on her head. Any suggestions? I was thinking a towel or pillow behind her to create some space? Anyone tried this? Thanks!

We put a pillow behind Jude's back to help with this. I got a $1 pillow form at IKEA we use. I keep meaning to put a cover on it, but never get around to it. He just loves his bike rides! This is how we get him to nap on the weekends............"if you take a good nap Daddy will take you for a ride...." and I get a little bit of alone time. For an added treat, they bike to an incredible park!
