Update:

I called and talked to Altheia today. She was very helpful and understood where I was coming from. I guess they have had a problem with returns in the past, so the new manager is watching it closely. I explained to her that I am aware of the zipper problem and that this is the second time it has happened to me. She said that with their new batch of bags they haven't had any problems. But she did refer to my bag as "old" which makes it sound like I'm trying to pull a fast one here.

I also mentioned that I was not aware of the new return policy and the whole paying for shipping thing didn't sit well with me since the problem was not my fault. She said she'd take care of it. :)

The black bag is now a new fabric, so she said I could choose any color I want as a replacement. Does anyone have any IRL photos of Truffle? I think that's what I'm going for.

Ugh. This is getting to be too much. Bought my bag through the original coop. Had the zipper problem. Sent it back, got a new bag.

Then DH used the bag last week and actually tried to zip it (I'm lazy and usually never zip the bag) and it broken AGAIN. What gives?

I contact CS and was told that "the manager is monitoring all returns" and "the return policy has changed" and "you'll have to pay shipping."

This is just ridiculous....

That's very disappointing- I would call back and insist on speaking with the manager- and feel free to let them know that you are sharing their new policies with the BB ladies- they have to know they get a lot of publicity here.

I was told so many times that their CS was far superior to PPB- looks like maybe they're headed downhill if they want you to pay shipping for their faulty product!

I'm not an attorney, but can they change their return policy on items that are previously purchased? Maybe there is a grandfather clause in instances like this?

So sorry this happened to you again!

This is the #1 reason I steer clear of Kecci bags. Hope that the CS department takes good care of you!
