I got my caramel-colored Kecci Mommybag in the mail today (my 'labor day' present from DH since DS turned one yesterday). We went out to dinner and had been at our table less than ten minutes when an older woman asked me where I got it. She thought it was a PPB. Her daughter is pg and looking for a pretty diaper bag. The woman just kept saying what a beautiful bag it was - she even said so when we left.

Anyway, I was just pretty tickled that within the first 30 minutes of my 'public unveiling' of my new bag, I already got a compliment! Just wanted to share it with other mamas who might understand it. DH's response was along the lines of "so?". :P

LOL, DH *didn't* think of it. He was trying to think of an appropriate labor day gift and I told him I would love the Kecci bag. He DID bring me flowers and get me a funny card about life with baby boys all on his own, so he still gets major kudos. Thanks for the birthday wishes! Our day was wonderful! :)

I totally do! Now, I just have to talk you into putting those little metal feet on the bottom of my bag so it will stay nice and clean! How about a mochaberry at my house next week? Would that do it? :P

HA...My DH would never even think about doing anything for me on the day the boys were born. With both boys I didn't receive a thing for either delivery (Except for my sweet baby) and he would never dream of doing anything for me for my "Labor Day." I can't complain too much because he is a great husband and dad but he just doesn't think to do things like that. That is so sweet of your DH. :)
