Does anyone own one of these? I've got my eye on one. Would it work/fit under the seat? I am taking a trip in 2 weeks with my 18 mos old (only a 2 hr flight- but then a 1.5 hr car rid). I tend to be a med to heavy packer on trips.

Could this back work for the plane? I have a Mothership, but after reading some recent posts, I don't think that would be a good choice. Also, thanks to my time on this board, I've recently bought a sling tote and a swagg. Could I bring both of those on the plane or would that be too much? Has anyone travelled with just the Sling Tote?

I am interested in this backpack over others because I can justify it for myself if I use it afterwards and I just don't really like the rugged look of some of the other diaper back packs and would hate to get one just for the plane (I'll probably only take one trip a year with her- if that).

So, (sorry, I'm long winded) can anyone rec or not rec this bag or rec another cov. backpack that's also cute and would work on a plane?

Thanks so much! You guys are always so helpful!

Edited to add yet another question: Would the shoulder strap hang over the stroller? I have a P3? Thanks much!

Allison

My friend from another board just bought one and traveled with it a month or two ago but I haven't gotten a review from her yet. When I do I will share here. I'm also considering it, but for daily use as well as travel.

Great! Thanks so much. I'm really considering this one and would like to hear how it does on the plane, etc.

Thanks, again!

My friend sent me an email today with her review and some pictures. She is a stay at home mom with twin toddlers and an infant.

"I really love it and am VERY happy with my decision to go with this
bag. I am also very glad that I got the backpack style rather than the Fling bag since I have actually used it quite a bit as a
backpack...especially when we were travelling over the holidays through the airports and such.

I use it whenever I go out with more than 1 of the kids and I can
easily fit everything I need for 2 or 3 kids in it, plus my stuff. On a typical daily outing for the 3 kids and me I will bring:

- 6 diapers, a travel size wipes case, a few Wee Pads (disposable
changing pads), and an extra onesie for Ben...I put this stuff in the
outside front pocket.
- 2 sippy cups for Abby & Zach...one in each holder on the outside of
the bag.
- 2 bottles for Ben...I put them in an insulated bottle bag in the main compartment of the diaper bag.
- Toy for Ben...usually clipped to the outside.
- Snacks for Abby & Zach...usually a ziplock bag of pretzels, some
cookies and cheerios and the snack trap cups...all in main compartment.
- A couple bibs...in pouch in main compartment.
- Brush and comb...in pouch in main compartment.
- Cup of food for Ben...in main compartment.
- My wallet and make-up bag...in main compartment.
- Cell phone, PDA and keys...in outside pockets on back of bag.

There is actually still room for more if I needed to bring other stuff. I don't really use the black insert bags (with the saying on them) since I can fit my stuff in better without them. Also, the changing pad that comes with the bag is great, but I can't fit it in the bag with all my other stuff. I actually keep it in the car and use the disposable pads to change the kids on.

I also have the Swagg bag and I use that when I go out with just one of the kids. It's big enough for a diaper, wipes, snacks, and my stuff. It also has a built-in wallet which is nice and can also be worn as a backpack. And, it comes with a changing pad.

The bags are pricey but I think they are worth every penny and have
recommended them to several of my friends."

If you have any specific questions for my friend I can pass them on to her.

Thank you so much!!! Thank your friend, too. This was very helpful! It may be my bag for the plane. I still have a few days to think about it before I make a purchase.

Thanks again!
