Quick question re: Skip Hop Dash

I am thinking about getting a Dash and was just wondering if the strap is long enough to put across your body, so you can carry it like a messenger bag? I've heard that the messenger style is very convenient with an infant so you can have both hands free and not worry about the bag sliding off your shoulder. Thanks for the help.
