Land's End tote

I currently have a SH Dash in black and I am looking for something more spring/summery looking. I was wondering if the Land's End zip top tote in medium would be a good choice. I think its bigger than my SH which would be great considering that I'd probably carry more with me in the summer. DS is 5 months right now. By the summer I'd have more toys and probably a beach towel and some clothing in the bag. The tote as 4 inside pockets and I like that it's not really a diaper bag so it's something that we can use forever. Are the straps long enough to hang over my P3 handlebars?

Any thoughts?
