Can anyone direct me to their favorite toddler tote or backpacks? I don't want anything too large. Just something my 2 1/2 yo can take to preschool to bring home papers and art projects.

TIA!

A neighbor gave us a Lands' End smaller backpack - great padding throughout, different compartments, and my now-3yo still loves carrying it!

I think this is it:

My ds has a timbuk2 mini metro that I got from sierra last summer for half off, it is a good toddler size bag, especially since he is on the small side and backpacks are too "tall" for him, plus he doesn't like wearing backpacks anyway.

check out lands end inlet, they have small backpacks. i just got one for my son, it is an one shoulder strap type of backpack, small, really good for a little kid. it was monogrammed for someone else, just snip out the lettering. it was a $24 backpack for $4.
we have bought several bags and backpacks that are mistakes! awesome deal.

We got a Stephen Joseph backpack from eBay. It's perfect!

I googled these and they are really cute. Now, however, I am searching for a back that DS can use when his Montessori class goes to the pool. I'm not sure these would hold up well wet. Anyone have any suggestions for a toddler to carry - thinking a lined backpack might be best.

TIA!

DS hates wearing anything on his back and loves pulling stuff so we got him a toddler rolling backpack from Lillian Vernon. The size is just right for him.

We have a LL Bean backpack Jr. Original sized. It's still a little big for my DS but he's not even 2 yet. Would be perfect for a 3-4 year old. It is a great bag with a great organized front pocket. We took it on the plane with us and it was perfect for his toys, books and a snack.

I was looking at the lunch pak for DS also but it's not big enough to hold an 8x11 art project. :(
