We tried a suitcase carrier...big pain. We don't want a sit-n-stroll. Anyone know about the pak back...or back pak....from One Step Ahead?

We're traveling with a convertible car seat and an infant seat which can fit on the stroller.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Depending on the seat you can extend the shoulder straps as far out as they'll go and put them on your shoulders like a backpack (so the part the kid sits on is against your back). I've heard good things about the OSA carrier. The best would be the gogokidz though! http://gogobabyz.com/products/gogo_kids.html

Ooooh - wish I had known about this one! When DS was 20 mo and we traveled, a friend loaned us her car seat cover that had backpack straps and wheels. It was great since we had connections and long waits, but it was a PAIN to squeeze the seat into the case!

Thanks for sharing!

We use the bags in this link. They have wheels so it makes it a bit easier to travel with the car seats. We have RA's and it wasn't a problem to fit them in these bags at all. We also used to put other stuff in too like our coats.

We used this carseat strap on our most recent trip and it was great. We put our infant in the infant seat in the stroller and pulled our toddler in his seat using this:

I have a Peg P3 and pile our marathon and roundabout in it, my son stands on the back, and I carry my DD in my ergo on my back. It actually works very well through the airport.

In the past, I have just placed my Roundabout in the stroller seat(Chico Caddy) then put the infant seat upside-down on the Roundabout. My then 2-year old walked, I carried my then-infant in a sling.

Now that they're both in Roundabouts, I will put one Roundabout in the stroller, then sit DD in the Roundabout. Not extremely sturdy, but stable enough to steer through the airport. Then for my DS's Roundabout, I bought a cheap rolling luggage cart at Target, I'll just strap the Roundabout on that instead of a suitcase.
