We're expecting our first baby (it's a girl) end of July/beginning of August. We're in the process of getting the necessary and essential gear. We really need your votes for your favorite messenger-style diaper bag. PLEASE HELP!

Here are some requirements:
- Adjustable strap
- Want one bag for both me + husband to share
- Want ample insulated pocket(s)and/or bottle holder that would fit stout 8oz Dr. Brown's or Avent bottles
- Would prefer changing pad to be included
- Stroller: red Bugaboo Frog (would be nice but bag doesn't necessarily need to attach to handle)
- Budget: Hopefully no more than $150
- Style: Modern, stylish, simple, no frills

Thank you so much in advance!

I would suggest either the Fleruville Mothership or the Sling Tote.

I like the ST over the MS because the MS is huge!

Good luck :)

fleurville sling tote is great- simle yet sporty. changing mat not pad, attaches to stroller, vinyl(but looks great) so easy to clean, good organization, holds a good amount considering its size(not huge) and can a tote or a messenger and the messenger strap on this is the most comfortable one i have ever tried. looks good when not filled
also like the bumble bag jessica with 6 larger pockets thats it. changing station in the front. has black interior which you will like or hate, can be packback also but the messenger and back pack straps are not the most comfortable. nice feel to material and great patterns. can hold a tad( and i really mean just a tad) more than the sling tote. is a floppier bag which i like but some hate.
skip hop dash has great organization but i felt i fit a tad more in the other 2 than in the dash. clips onto the stroller. has black interior. the things i didnt like about it were i had pink and it got very dirty as well as in each of the 4 corner on the bottom showed alot of wear from when put down-it was canvas. also didnt like that when it was stuffed, the flap didnt look right because it is a stiffer bag than the other 2. just wasnt as stuffable but is a really good bag.
as for others, people usually say the lexie barns superstar is great. as for the ju ju be be all, isnt adjustable straps yet but supposedly were going to be changing soon as well as attaching to stroller but i think your baby would be here already and everyone says it really needs an adjustable strap. jsut make sure you dont fall into where you get an impractical bag. make sure you can keep up with the care certain materials need and dont be blinded by a beautiful bag that wont be helpful to you. you want something to make like easier, not to worry about if you have to put it on the floor somewhere to get something out.
oh, and dont get hung up on the bottle holder or changing pad. the cushier the changing pad, the more room it takes up in your bag which could be a problem. the baby really wont care, just make sure its wipeable. and as for the bottle holder, a baby needs so many bottles even now i have a 16 month old that i always need to carry at least 2-3 when we go out for the day. obviously no bag has 3 insualated pockets so i carry a separate bag. i use the gr8x bottle bag and love it. i use ice packs and feel the bottles stay much cooler. then you will have easy access to the bottles and always no where they are without digging. it really shouldnt be a deciding factor. if you really want something, they make a ton of single bottle holders you could buy and put in the bag you choose. that way, if you were running in somewhere and not needing your bag-like to return something for 10 mins in a store- then you could just bring the cooler just in case. hope that helps and lmk if you have any more questions. i love baby stuff and research the heck out of everything. it took me about a year but i have def figured out the need and need not of baby things! good luck with your little one. do you have a name?

Have you seen the JJB messenger dad's bag? I wouldn't call it a dad only bag bc I carry it and LOVE it! I have the one in khaki and mandarin and it has an adjustable strap, changing pad, insulated pockets, plus all the other cool ju-ju-be things. I also carry the insulated sippie rocket that fits my avent bottles when I need more bottle space. They also have a black one. www.ju-ju-be.com

I also like my PPB but my husband won't be caught dead wearing that!!! Good luck and have fun with that new baby!

That the Fleurville sling tote does come with a changing pad.
