Rcvd my bag yesterday, very happy! Purchased from Shoebuy.com for a great price, thanks to a couple of mommas on the board. This bag will be my toddler bag that will replace my Eddie Bauer diaper bag. I put some of my DS's red blocks in the photo so you can see that the bag isn't really red it's paprika which has a red-orangey look...still nice.

Contents: 2 tall sippies, 2 bottles, 2 snacktaps, 2 back-up snack holders, 1 tall container of Stars snack, 6 size 6 Huggies, 1 wipes holder, 2 t-shirts, 2 shorts, 1 rcvng blanket, 4 small toy cars, 2 books, 1 changing pad, 1 tube of lotion, 1 tube of sunblock, 1 diaper creme.

Here are some photos:

I could've put more but thought this is pretty much what I need when we head out on Sat or Sundays for errands. I didn't use the outside front zippered pocket nor the pocket under the flap. I could easily add my cell phone, small wallet, water bottle for moi, fruit cups & sandwich if we go to the zoo, or large bottles of water instead of the tall sippies to go into the built in bottle holders....which I simply love!

The straps are thick, it is intended to be a computer bag, has two adjusters. I put the diaper supplies into the neoprene computer pocket which is NOT bulky at all. Inside the bag there are 2 colors: paprika, silver, and the neoprene pocket is black. I plan to use this for traveling, too.

Nice bag! How big are the side pockets actually? Would they fit a 1 litre water bottle? I have a 1L SIGG. I think 1L is somewhere around 32oz if you work with those measurements. And it is 3 1/8" Diameter, 8 3/4" Tall.

Thanks!
I just put my 32 oz. Nalgene water bottle into each pocket and it went in like a breeze. Very roomy side pockets. I don't know the measurements but it is a wide water bottle with a big mouth, sounds about the same as your SIGG...what's a SIGG?

That's a nice looking bag! Do you have any other popular diaper bags you can do a side by side pic with? I'm just looking for a comparison size-wise between that and a LE LT or a Skip Hop or Fling or something. Just curious.

Thanks for the review though!

Thank you for checking! Yes that bottle is pretty much the exact same size as my SIGG. Here's what a SIGG is http://www.sigg.ch/

Thanks so much for this review and the pictures! I am on vacation and my bag is probably waiting for me at home, but I was waiting to hear what you thought! Can't wait to get it and see how it packs up, and what I'll use it for! I think this might be a great zoo/travel bag, even though I have thought that backpacks were always best for those outings. I am finding that in theory, backpacks are great for being "handsfree," but in reality, I think it's a pain to get stuff in and out of, and also kind of a pain to keep swinging it around my back to get her stuff (like her sippy which I am always taking in and out of constantly).

I do like the option of having a backpack though, when carrying that much stuff, b/c it would have been really too heavy to carry all my stuff across my shoulder, especially since I have a really bad neck problem. Today, I went to the zoo in NYC and I brought the LE Triple Compartment Backpack, but also carried the Overland Pacer with my wallet, keys, and cell phone, so I could have easy access to everything at my fingertips. If I had brought the Overland Donner, I would have been better of since I wouldn't have to keep reaching into my backpack all the time for her sippy. Ideally, I would be carrying around so little that all I would need is the Overland Donner or LE Little Tripper, but I can keep dreaming, LOL!!!

If the Trinidad was convertible, it would probably be the perfect bag. I wish they would come out with a bag in between the Overland Donner and the Trinidad!

First of all I'd like to say Thank you Chiqanita for the great review and pictures and also for the link to discounts on Shoebuy.com. I was looking for the best price I could get for the Trinidad, which you helped find.

I got my Trinidad earlier this week and absolutely love it!

Does anyone know if this bag would work for a 2 year old toddler and a newborn? It looks great!

Denise :-)

You are welcome!
I'm currently looking into their Skyscraper bag for DH who will have to carry his computer and care for one DS on our flight very soon.

I know you'll enjoy your bag!

I don't see why not.
It has plenty of space for the things I need for my twin toddlers.
Overland also has lots of other bags, you should take a look.

Here's a link (this is the bag I'm getting for DH, it can be used for a laptop or as a toddler bag):
