How do you clean your Silver Line bag?

Today I dumped a whole sippy of milk out in my Silver Line Fling - what a mess!

Has anyone put their bag through the washer? Wiping clean just doesn't seem enough for soaked through milk.

These instructions were posted on another BB (the Babybags group) and came from Silver Line. Apparently somepeople have had their bags rip during/after washing but it seems like there was a bad batch of bags at one time. Other people had no problems after washing their bag.

stains.
She advises you to use Shout on the stains, rub it out, let it set for
a while,
and wash it with Tide in the washing machine on gentle cycle in cold
water.

Do not put the bag in the dryer. Hang it upside down and let it dry
completely
- usually 2 or 3 days. She said it should look great. The only types of
stains Lori had some trouble with were diaper cream and pen."
