I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but here goes...

I'm looking at something like this to put next to DD's car seat in the (unusable to anyone wider than a toothpick) back center seat:

Does anyone have anything like this? Are they useful? Does it take up too much room? I swear my car is the roach motel of toys - they get brought out to the car but they never leave. At least this way they'd be zipped up and belted in...and when DD decides to drop something and then decides she wants it back it would be within reach, perhaps?

Anyway, I'm looking for advice/experience with either this one or any other brand.

Thanks!
Sarah :)

I have this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Alex-Toys-Travel-Toy-Tote/dp/B000BWZQCO

It's smaller than the one you're looking at (or at least it looks a lot smaller).

I think it's kind of helpful. It does give me one place to toss all the toys. DS can reach in and pull things out, but if he does drop (or throw) something most of the time it doesn't land back in the tote....however at least there's generally more stuff he can pull out.
