I recently got a Fleurville ST in chocolate ogo and just loved it at first site. The pattern is gorgeous and it seems so well made. But every time I have packed it, I just don't really like it. I don't know if I am trying to put too much in it or what. It just seems bulky and balloon-y looking, and kind of difficult to find things. I actually have stuff in it now as I was planning to take it to our family gathering tomorrow, and I'm probably going to switch it to my Dash. It occurs to me now that the Dash and ST seem to hold about the same amount and maybe I should have sized up a bit instead of getting 2 about the same. Does anyone else not like their ST? What did you go with instead? Or if you do like it, help me love mine because I really want to! Maybe I am missing many of its wonderful features.

I'm not feeling the love for my ST's. I loved them initially when DS was breastfed and I didn't need to carry sippys, but now the lack of cup pockets drives me crazy. I know it has that big insulated bottle holder thing but I can't stand using it because it takes up so much room. It seems like it can be such an organized bag, but when I use it it feels like a deep pit.

I've gone back to my old stand-bys - by Skip Hop Dash for day trips (zoo, etc) and Overland Equipment Donner for half day and shorter outings. I'm expecting #2 now and I'm on the lookout for a cute bag that will hold a little bit more than the Dash but still have the same functionality. I think the Lexie Barnes and Ju Ju Be bags are cute, but I haven't seen them IRL and still have to do some research.

Thanks for responding! I feel the exact same way. I love my ST in theory but it just doesn't work for me. It's too bad because it is so pretty! I am addicted to the pockets of the dash. I have decided to sell my ST and get a Skip Hop double duo. I don't have a double stroller, but for longer trips with my 2 kiddos I think it will be great. Good luck with your research, let me know if you find something great!

I've been eyeing the SH double duo too but haven't seen it IRL yet. It looks very large on the pics on-line, but it is hard to tell from that. I think it will probably be a great bag for day trips with 2 kids, particularly since I'd probably leave it on the stroller (a SBS double once I decide between the two I'm looking at). I'd be interested to hear how it is. So many choices! :)

Just chiming in to commisserate...I have had the ST and the mini ST, which both still make me drool when I see old pics of them or see them on the web...makes me want to get another one, lol. However, I found that they are indeed difficult to organize and find things in, that they are stiff, and just not easy to carry for me (I love a good messenger or backpack, something that can mold to my body and not seem like it is its own person hanging away from me, hee hee).

You are not alone, though the bags are SOOOO pretty!!

Yep, you're definitely not alone! I have a ST in denim and I love it, but honestly, it would make a better purse than a diaper bag, especially because I CD. Plus, there's no bottle holders and it drives me crazy that I can't stow my KK very easily. I am now looking at the Lexie Barnes Superstar and will most likely go with it.

I feel better seeing these responses! I just sold my ST and am sad...but I never once used it. My SHDD should arrive this week and I am excited. It sounds like others are looking toward more functional options too.

I like my older version of the ST with the built in insulated bottle holder MUCH better than the new version I have. Will sell the new version and alternate between my old version ST and the Skip Hop Dash.
