skip hop duo-uh-oh-- need help!

Hi everyone,
On a trip this weekend (first trip ever with DS!) I spilled a large amount of dry powder baby formula into my bag's main pocket. Suggestions for removing? I am afraid to moisten--- will it just make a paste? I tried to dump it out and brush it out but it did not work well- I will try to vaccuum but wanted to see if any other suggestions existed- this was also bag's first trip as well! :(

you should wash it the skip hop bag washes nicely

Can you wash it in the washer or just sink? the label says wipe with damp cloth so I did not want to ruin it!

I threw my Dash in the washer on Gentle and used the "Large" wash. I had had it for 18 mos., and it came out great. I did remove the strap before washing.
