It's been forever since I've visited this board because I've been ecstatically happy with my Skip Hop Duo for several years and am completely oblivious about any other bags that may have come into existence in the past few years. Now my kiddos are getting bigger and I don't need to haul as much gear with us every time we go out. Plus, I just bought a BOB Revolution Duallie stroller and although the basket is nice and big, the openings to fit things into the basket are rather narrow. So...I'm on the market for a new diaper bag (or diaper bag substitute). I think I'd like a backpack style and ideally something that can hold a few diapers, wipes, snacks, 2 sippy cups (don't have to be in external pockets) plus my wallet, cell phone, pager. Any suggestions? TIA...

I LOVE my JJCole Essentials bag. It will not hold two sippys (it does have a detachable bottle holder though), but I almost always have my stroller or something to chuck the water sippys into so that isn't an issue for me. I've been using it since DD was 4 months and DS was almost 2.5y. I can easily put in a changing pad, 4 size 4 Pull-Ups, a travel pack of wipes, a small toy for each, my wallet, cell phone, a bag of snacks for each, a various things like bib, plastic utensils, tape (for placemeats at restaurants), hand sanitizer, etc. They run about $30 and are worth every penny. My first one ripped in between the two main compartments after about a year. I just sent it back and they mailed me a brand new one. Their CS has been GREAT! I am planning on trying this back with #3, along with #2's Pull-Ups and we'll see how it goes. I just love how it is so small, holds a fair amount, and weighs practically nothing. :) It also is detachable so I clip it onto my stroller or shopping cart whenever I do not want to wear it. You can see them at www.jjcoleusa.com. Jen at www.expressivetoys.com usually has a good deal with free shipping. Oh...and DH doesn't mind carrying mine, and I have the pink chocolate one. :)

Good luck!

LeSportsac has two backpacks:

Their bags are very light and the fabric is thin if that is what you mean by thin.
