Help! my daughter has to have an EEG tomorrow to rule out epilepsy or other seizure-related disorders. The neurologist tells me that I have to keep her awake for 5 hours before the test (at 11am) and not feed her for 3 house before since they have to sedate her and they don't want her to get sick from the anesthesia. She usually gets up at about 5:30 am and then briefly naps after BF'ing at 7am and while at daycare from 9-10am. I'm keeping her at home before the test, but how do I keep her awake? I'm bringing my mom along to try and keep her awake during the drive. I hate the thought of intentionally causing my baby to cry and be upset/hungry. ;( What do I do?
