I have spent no less than 20 hours researching in the past two days...

I have decided!!!! that we are going to go for an indendent adoption of two children in the Ukraine!!!!
It appears that an agency in this country is not too much help in that a faciliator is the way to go, they are the ones with connections etc...

we have started the process and I think the adoption of two children this route will be aobut $16,000 (with only about $2,000) being for hte second child.

Wow, Neve, congratulations on your decision!! These two children are blessed that you are going to be in their lives, and in turn your family will be blessed as well. And they couldn't ask for a better daddy or brother. :)

Way to go Neve! I know this will be an emotional process (I lurk here because my cousin adopted from China and I know it was hard for her to do as a single mom), but it will be so worth it for you and your family. Good luck to you! Tristan will be a most excellent big bro!
