Gift for Birthmother and Birthfather

Does anyone have a good idea for gifts for both the bmom and bdad? I was thinking of a locket with the babies birthstone for the bmom. But I feel like the bdad needs something too. Any ideas??

I've worked in adoption for 10 years and a neat gift an adoptive family gave a birth father was an earring with the baby's birthstone in it. He loved it. Of course the birth father would have to have a pierced ear for this to work. Just a suggestion...

I know someone who got 2 of the same stuffed animals (they got those build a bears) and are giving one to the mom and saving the other for the baby.
