Actually Russia has just reaccredited a bunch of agencies so I'm not sure that there is still the same slow down as there was earlier in the year.

July and August however are traditionally slow months in Russia as far as adoptions are concerned but the fact that many agencies have been reaccredited by the gov't is actually a good sign that things will pick up. While I know that some agencies have been reaccredited a good number have been.

So they are probably faster then they were a couple of months ago if you are with an a reaccredited agency but not as fast as they use to be.
