It's finally happened! We got our referral!!!

After many, many, many months of trying to be patient :), we received our referral on 08/19! We have a baby girl waiting for us in Colombia! She is just over 3 months old and we're hoping to travel mid-September to get her. We will be there 6 or 7 weeks for all the interviews and court appointments, though they say it could be less - but not to count on it.

I've got sooooo much to do before we leave and I just can't seem to keep my head straight! I'm just TOO EXCITED! *dancing in my chair*

Thanks to everyone for the support earlier this month when I posted about having to re-do the I600A form. Now we're just waiting to get that back so we can start planning our trip.

Now I finally get to SHOP!!! :)

That's so wonderful! Wow, 6 or 7 weeks! You will really be able to get a feeling for where she's from (will you be spending time in her birth area, or Bogota, both, or are they one and the same?).
