I am going down to Haiti this weekend to spend a few days with Kenley. I don't get to bring him home yet, but really just feel the need to go meet him, see what he is like and make him real for me. It's funny to feel like you miss someone you have never even met.
I am really excited, tinged with a little nervousness, but I really think this is exactly where I am supposed to be.
So, wish me luck and pray that Kenley and I both do OK with all the new experiences.

How exciting for you! Praying all goes well and K takes to you like you've been together forever.

Hugs and be careful. :)

Have a great visit! I visited in process, and I think it was really important for me and for dd, even though she was so young at that time.

I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to hear how your trip was. What exactly does a trip to Haiti entail? Is it an easy hop, skip & jump?

I have a blog if you are interested in reading about my trip. It is nothing fancy, but it has some cute pictures...

How wonderful! Thanks for sharing your blog. Was this your first time seeing him in person? He does look like such a cutie, love the "Ladies Man," shirt. That's great that you were able to hang out with other parents who were visiting, too. It looks like it's a long process there, no?
