Every baby is different but this really worked for us. We went through four soaps (J&J Head to Toe, Gentle Naturals baby wash, J&J moisturizing and Dove unscented) and two lotions (Gerber skin naturals wth oatmeal and Gentle Naturals baby eczema cream) before reaching our pot of gold. DD doesnt really have "clinical" eczema, she just had some really itchy dry skin that caused her ALOT of discomfort. I now know she was reacting to the products we were putting on her skin. DD is 7 mo and we bathe her approx. every other day or so..(Yes, we did go the the Ped to make sure it wasnt anything else and we even had a few days with a cortisone cream to get a jump start)

Dove sensitive skin and Aveeno baby daily moisture lotion (just the regular one that is fragrance free) work for us. Just FYI..Dove unscented IS NOT FRAGRANCE FREE...you have to get the sensitive skin bar to get truly fragrance free. We still use vaseline near her mouth when she gets that drool rash.

HTH :)

My DS had ezcema too, and the J&J Baby Wash seemed to irritate him as well.

So, we are bathing him everyday, but with Cetaphil Cleanser and Aveno unscented lotion afterwards. It has been working well - so another alternative to the Dove.
