My 8-month-old sweats a lot...About 2 weeks ago I noticed his underarms looked terrible...They were very red..not really like a rash but more like a big red splotch under each arm...He doesn't act like it hurts him when I touch it...He doesn't seemed bothered by it at all to be truthful, but it LOOKS painful and it definitely needed to be treated...I called my ped and she recommended using Aquaphor or Eucerin lotion but it hasn't gotten any worse but it doesn't look any better...My mother seems to think that baby powder or cornstarch would do better...I'm not sure what to do..Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it
