Today dd woke up with diarehha and stomach cramps. She was crying and saying "it hurts, mommy. make it stop." over and over. It was heartbreaking. The pedi's office tells me that there is no relief for it and all I can do is hold her and tell her it'll be ok.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to soothe those awfull stomach cramps? I'd really appreciate some inpute.

I won't be much help, but I did want to say I hope she feels better soon!

Some things we've tried that sometimes help:
lie on the belly, curl into a ball, use a heating pad, drink something carbonated that will cause burping, apply pressure to the belly, etc.

Good luck and I really do hope she is okay soon!

warm compress, rubbing belly in a circular pattern... not much else you can do... so sorry!

When DD has diarrhea, I give her an extra dose of probiotics and it seems to help with that. Plus I push the fluids & electrolytes. I really feel for your DD!!

I know for me, it helps to lay on my tummy when it's cramping...

Oh how sad. It always helped me to have a warm water bottle and a fluffy blanket when I was young.
