Unhappy at daycare

My little girl started daycare 2 days a week about 4 weeks ago, the first day was great. She got bit twice on the second day, now she cries every time I leave. The caregiver says she clings to her all day and cries frequently. She plays good on her own, but doesn't seem to want to interact with other kids. Any suggestions to make me feel better?

How old is she? What does the caregiver suggest? Are you able to spend time there with her, or bring her in on other days and stay with her then?

How old is she? Children have many different types of play, parallel, etc. and if she has just started she is probably just getting comfortable. I would also ask why or what happened that caused her to get bit, is there a issue with supervision in the daycare?
