Hi. I found a good and easy recipe for homemade playdough the other week that I thought I would share. I made the first batch three weeks ago and it keeps in a glass jar well, I've just added flour to make it stiff, otherwise it gets really gooey over time and a little hard to use with cookie cutters. I've listed the link where I found it below. This is recipe number 4.
Here goes:
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1 teaspoon vegetable oil (I used corn, worked fine)
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
food coloring
Mix four, water, salt, oil and tartar in saucepan. Cook medium heat until holds together (about 3-5 minutes, it helps to stir.)
Knead on floured surface. Add food color (a couple of drops does it.)
