Help, my DD who is almost three will hit me and her father when she is frustrated and doesn't want to do what we want to do. We have tried redirection and positive reinforcement and time-outs but it persists. It is somewhat in a temper tantrum mode. We want to leave a restaurant or go somewhere and she hits us. If not us, then herself. She has never hit other kids!
