For some reason, the Highland Sachel diaper backpack is coming up for $12.95 on www.rightstart.com. Everywhere else it runs $40 to $50. I ordered one and it is on the way. I even did a Google search for right start and coupon and got 10% off the order. The total for the order was under $20.

I figure any diaper backpack under $20 is worth a try!

I want one, but I have 3 diaper bags and can't justify this purchase.

I just tried to order it and got an error trying to check out. I guess they have caught this! Too bad - I just talked my aunt into buying one for each of her three kids!

Thanks! I ordered 5 and used a different 10% off coupon ((D1U28). If I had been able to get the web site to work, I would have gotten free shipping, but it wouldn't go through on two different computers I tried. Still, even with shipping and tax, it worked out to $15.10 per bag. Not bad!!!! I hope my cousins all like them!

Wow! This is a fantastic deal! I bought one when it was on sale for $30 and have really liked it--it's especially nice for traveling and my husband likes using it because it doesn't look like a diaper bag at all. This is by far the best deal on this backpack that I've ever seen! Now I have to think of who I might be able to buy it for... Thanks for the tip.

I called and ordered 2 of these this morning. Be careful, because they add shipping on to the cost before they take the 10% off which pretty much nullifies the 10% and then add taxes on to your items AND the shipping, which they shouldn't do. The two I bought came to $25.90. The shipping goes from $6.95 to $8.95 at $25.00, so that extra .90 costs $2.00. Then they take off the 10% from the $25.90. Then after the bags and the shipping is added together, they tax that amount. I talked to customer service and complained, both about the shipping and the taxing of the shipping. I have been told that I will get a credit on my AMEX, so we'll wait and see. It's not much, $3.00 or so, but it is the principle.

Thanks for the tip! I needed a bigger backpack!

I ordered one by phone, too. I hate that they ask for all your payment and personal info before you can even tell them what product you want. They even asked me if I had a promo code before I told them what product I wanted. Funny thing is, the woman put me on hold and then came back ot the phone and told me that I couldn't use the promo code unless I spent a $1 more! I told her, "A dollar more of what? I haven't even told you what I want to order!"

She didn't say anything after that. Maybe she assumed I was one of the many calling to buy this backpack and she was trying to get me to buy more stuff. In the end, she didn't give me the % off and I ended up paying $12.95 + $6.95 shipping and then tax so my total was $21 something. DS was calling for me, so I didn't have time to argue with her.

it depends on the tax laws in your state. Some states tax shipping and some don't. All states tax the full amount of the sale before any percent off discounts.

Assuming your state charges tax on shipping, they are doing it correctly according to law.

If they are adding on the shipping, and then taking the 10% off, that is to your advantage because you are saving 10% off the shipping too.

the website is now showing it at $69.95 :( And when you call, that is the price they see.

I called, and they are honoring the price I had in my shopping cart yesterday, $12.95, but their computers are down, so she has to call me back when she does the order.

code MOMMY gets you 15% off if this is your first order with them.

Is this bag spacious enough to carry enough stuff for twins? They are due in Feb. and I'd been looking for a decent diaper bag.
