We are planning to go to Montreal, Canada on the 4th of July weekend but the flights seem to be so expensive - cant find anything cheaper that $380 or so - its only like a 1 and a 1/2 hour flight - How do find a good deal? I have checked Travelocity, Orbitz, etc etc.

Where are you flying from?

Sometimes you do better if you check out all the cheap sites, and then go directly to a carrier. When I flew from Montreal to Vancouver, that's what I did, and it saved us about $200.

Flights from the States into Canada (and within Canada) are really expensive these days because gas prices in Canada are very high these days (or at least that's what the paper said a couple of weeks ago). I guess jet fuel doesn't come cheap...
