I rec'd my babystyle order this evening. I was disappointed that DS' polo style shirts in 4T were so small. He's only 3, but their 4T is similiar to Gymboree's 3T. I was hoping for him to wear them next year. But, that won't happen.

I bought 4 dresses; 2 were supposed to be 12-18 mos and 2 were 18-24 mos.
And they're *all* small for my DD (21 mos). DD is way beyond petite. She just outgrew her 6-9 mos clothes, so there's no way the average 1 yr old could fit in the 12-18 mos clothes.
They're all final sale too, so I'm not even sure what I can do about this.
Did anyone else have the same problem? Were you able to resolve it?

Everything I ordered ended up being very small. I got some 3T shirts and some 2T dresses and they are all small on my 5th percentile 2yr old twins. Even the 5T shirts for my 4yr old son seemed to run small.

I bought them for next spring so I guess we will just wear them now.

I just checked the clothes I ordered (thought I wouldn't need them until Spring '07!) and they are really small. I'm hoping she can get some wear out of them now. So disappointing.

Yep. I ordered 3T for DD for next year. She just turned 2 and is small (still in 18-24mo). She is well within their 2T size chart for now. The 3Ts I ordered for next year fit now, and we don't need them now. Argh. I think I may call them tomorrow and ask if they can do something! I know their policy is no returns on the sale items, but this is ridiculous, if their sizing charts/clothing are inaccurately sized. I will post with a follow-up after I talk to them.

When pregnant I bought a pair of "final sale" maternity jeans online and was able to exchange them for a different size. So it can be done.

(But to avoid the fee of shipping it back I had to go into a store.)

I am glad that I got 18-24 month sizes for DD next summer (when she will be 15 months). I almost got 12-18. For future reference, it is good to know that they run small. Fortunately here in TX, you can wear short sleeve t-shirts most of the year.

Yes, this is true. I called their CS today, and they were extremely sorry about the sizing problem, and told me that I could have store credit. I'd rather have my $ back, but I'm sure I'll have cause to use my store credit another day.

They gave me an RA#, and I am supposed to take them back into the store.

I called and told them that I think that their size chart is not accurate for their clothing, and that my daughter, who is barely in the 2T range for height (and not near it for weight) can wear the 3Ts I bought for next summer already, and that they fit perfect, if not a little small. I told them that I have no use for all of these extra clothes right now.

I would call and tell them again what the problem is, and that you can't use these summer clothes in the winter, and if they won't help you, I would ask for the supervisor and demand it. I haven't done it with Babystyle, but talking to the supervisor has in almost all cases gotten me what I needed.

I was in the store today, and they told me that they have changed their return policy - you have 30 days for a full refund regardless of how much it was on sale. I asked if this was also true for online purchases, and they said it should be eventually and that for anything purchased online and returned to the store the store policy would apply. So if any of you live near a store, it would be worth a try to see what they will do. Good luck!

Funny, I bought two of the same dress in 3T and 4T, and they are EXACTLY the same size (lucky they are different colors). Everything else seems to be one size too small. The 5Ts just fit my 4-year-old DS. And the 3Ts (which were supposed to be for next summer) just fit my 2-year-old DD who is in no way big for her age. Oh well, I decided to just keep them anyway hoping that my 6-mo-old DD will get some wear out of them too. I did email them so that at least they know there is a problem with their sizing.

That is really interesting with the problem with small sizing. I didn't buy items at the 70% off sale this last time, but made a purchase a few weeks ago. Just like the other posters, I bought for next summer. I didn't even think to check sizing because when I have ordered other items in the past, they fit correctly (jeans size 12 months fit dd now & 18 month summer dress fits but it is long on her). She is 18 months old but in the 25th percentile for ht & wt. Maybe only some of the items run small? I guess we will play fashion show this week to check sizing on things that I have bought for her for this winter and next summer.
