I got the big girl clips in the pink/green flower, orange/pink flower and the longer/narrower pink flower one :) They are adorable but even the "big girl" clips are tiny. My little one has curly hair but not a ton of it and I just use it as a little "pull the bangs out of her eyes" clip.

How big are the barrettes? I was going to order them
for my 4.5 years old daughter. Would she be too old for them??

She wouldn't necessarily be too old for them, but the PP was right, they would just be to pull the bangs out of the face. My DD is 2 and has thin hair still (but it's long), and they work perfectly to pull the bangs out of her face. We have the big girl ones. The women who run it are awesome though. They had me send a pic of my DD and advised me to get the big girl clips! They are probably 1.5-2inches long. You might contact the women and send a pic of your DD to see what they think.

I measured our clips and the part that is showing (they are incased in the felt design) is 1" long and they are very tiny - maybe 1/4 inch in width. They really are just a "pull it back a bit a little on the side" type of clip.
