There was only one left. With all the other John Deere toys. Normally 29.99, had a clearance sticker for $3.74. It scanned as "item not found" so I asked a Target associate and the conversation went like this:

"Excuse me. This is not scanning correctly and I see a clearance sticker, but that can't be the right price."

"It is."

"No. I *never* find the deals here."

"Well, you did."

(happy dance)

Sure, I have no need for this ride-on for my own DC and the fact that it plays obnoxious music is irritating, but I bought it anyway and will either give it to a friend or else save it for Toys for Tots. Or else, maybe I can turn off the music somehow and save it for when DD is older.

I don't know if this was a fluke at my store, but it may be worth checking out!

I got the last ride-on. There were other John Deere products on sale, but I passed on this playset:

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/34462.jpg

It's a sheep shearing shed. The sheep goes in one end and then comes out bald on the other side. The picture on the box with the sheep and its "removable wool" is hilarious!

There was also a cow milking barn and an apple picking set.
