Until 7/16, if you buy one of 5 Black & Decker appliances (regularly priced at $29.99)at LNT, including a blender, toaster oven, Dustbuster, iron, and coffee maker, there is a $20 rebate per item. You can also use the coupon code 98082021027 (exp. 8/6/06) for 20% off your entire purchase. If you use the in-store pick up option, there is no shipping cost. When you're done with the rebate and coupon code, each item will cost $3.99 plus tax, if applicable.

Do you know where I input the 20% coupon code? AFter I input the billing information?

Thanks.

You're right. It's toward the end- I think around step 4 of 5. But, you can see that it's applied before you place the actual order. If you get stuck, let me know.

Did you get any? Did you have to do a separate transaction for each $20 rebate? Anyway, I picked up the dustbuster. We'll see if it works.

Thanks for posting. We need a small dustbuster anyway.

I got the Dustbuster and toaster oven. I wanted the iron too, but it wasn't available for in-store pick up, and I was too cheap to pay shipping. You can do it all in one transaction, or in separate ones. You can print off the rebate form off LNT, or get one in store. Seems like a great deal since my Dustbusters never seem to last that long. Too much mess!

Thanks again for posting. Is it $20 rebate per product? I may pick up some more. Back to shopping again. I need to stop reading thsi Board.

Thanks again.

No problem. The store manager at my local store said it was $20 per product. Hard to resist!! Like most others on this board, I spend too much when I check in, but I can't resist a deal!! DH keeps threatening to cancel our DSL, and go back to dial up in the hopes that I will check in less. Since our library is high speed, I'll have the last laugh! Happy shopping.

Anyone know of a free shipping code? Shipping would be $10 for me and I don't have a LNT in my city. Thanks to the OP for the great deal. TIA!

It seems like several of the items are backordered online and won't be shipped for 15-30 days. The rebate must be submitted by August 14th, so it may cause problems with the rebate if the backorders are delayed.

I ordered the dustbuster today, and it said "backorder for 15- 30 days"-- but not even 2 hours later I received an e-mail that my order was ready to be picked up.
So-- definitely ok on the rebate date.

I'm feeling really dumb here cause I'm not understanding this. Each item is $9.99 (after the $20 rebate) right? And you have to pay full price & mail the rebate in, right? But if it's $9.99 & you use the 20% off coupon, how does that total $3.99?? I'm completely missing this aren't I?

The price is 29.99. Use the 20% off coupon and it brings the price down to 23.99 (takes off $6). Then when you mail in the $20 rebate your price will be 3.99. Mine ended up being 3.99 with 1.20 tax so it was total $5.19.

I went to the store and used a BB&B 20% expired coupon I had in my car. No questions asked! According to the rebate form they gave me the purchase needs to be made by 6/16.

Just wanted to check and see if by chance when you said 6/16, you meant 7/16. If not, make sure you have the current rebate form. I have one, and it says that the qualifying product needs to be made between July 7, 2006 and July 16, 2006. I'm so glad everyone is getting such a great deal!

Thanks for the great deal! Picked up 2 toaster ovens myself. LNT will honor Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupons too but mine will only accept unexpired ones. I guess it just depends where you go.

Just wanted to note that when we picked up our two toaster ovens (one under my name and one under DH's name) they told us the refund was only good for 1 item per address. We are going to send DH's in under his mom's name/address and see if that works but our receipt has our address on it since we did it online. I hope it still works!

I didn't see anywhere on the rebate form that there was a limit in number of rebates per address. Usually it will state any limitations such as "one per household" in the small print on the bottom but the rebate form nor the info on the website had anything like that written. So, legally speaking I think they have to honor rebates of more than one item. At least that is my thinking as I bought a total of 7 items!!! (for myself, friends, and family) We shall find out in 8-10weeks!!

I know there was some confusion at the time, but just wanted to let everyone know that I got my rebate today, and it was $20 per product, as I was told- and NOT $20 in total. So, no worries for those of you who, like me, bought multiple products. Now...what to buy with the rebate money!!!
