Thanks for posting! Picked up some sheets for the crib, even though she won't be in it for awhile. Also got some sheets for the PNP. It's impossible to find decent PnP sheets! And they always come off the mattress. Hope these stay put!

I just tried it and still it's the same thing. The site I get to is more like a generic, search engine type of site for "baby" and "fleece" but definitely not the FleeceBaby.com site. The bottom banner even has links to Home & Garden, Health & Beauty, Thrift Stores, Toys & Hobbies, Pets & Pet Supplies, etc!!!!!

At the bottom of the window, there's a hyperlink that says "Why am I seeing this site" which has me e-mail "[email protected]." This is SO WEIRD!!! Maybe it has something to do with me using a Mac? I can't think of anything else.

I'll see if I can dig up an e-mail address for Jen so I can e-mail her directly. I'll have to go through my archived mail.

Does it take a while to receive these?? I ordered one when this was first posted, and was already charged for it (a week ago), but I haven't received it yet. I wrote to them yesterday, but no response yet.

Most companies don't charge you for something until they ship it, but is that their policy?? Can I hear from those of you who have ordered from them before??

Just wanted to post that I emailed Jennifer again and she left me a voice message that was extremely apologetic and prompt. It seems my order was in the system, but somehow didn't get sent or some kind of glitch. I was just happy to hear that it was there, but not only is she sending out my sheet ASAP she is sending an additional one since it took this long. That's what I call excellent customer service. I totally didn't expect anything like that and emailed her and told her not to feel obligated to do that since I was just relieved that my order was not lost. Anyway, I can't wait to get my sheets and consider myself a loyal customer already. I love dealing with companies like that.

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the post from a manufacturer- but, there were so many people asking about delivery times and concerned about not getting there sheets that I just wanted to check that everyone who ordered has gotten their sheets OK. I have had some server glitches- its caused some of the orders not to go all the way through. I keep trying to back track to be sure that I've got them all, but due to the glitch, it can be very hard to tell.

If you've ordered a sheet and still haven't received it please let me know right away. For those of you that it took alot longer than expected I'm really sorry!!! I would have emailed you all personally, but many users are disabled, so I thought this way would be OK.

Thanks again everyone!!!

Just as pp said, I hate thinking of DC being cold so I have sheets for home and one to send to daycare with DS. They sleep on cots with just a crib sheet and a blanket. I thought having a soft, fleece sheet would make naptimes away from home that much nicer during the winter months.

OK guys- I know that manufacturers aren't supposed to post- but where better to find out if my crazy little idea would work than to go right to the source. As some of you guys know- I'm the Fleece sheet gal- I'm also a mom to a three year old and five year old and am on the boards often just like you guys. I've gotten alot of questions if I'm going out of business because of the deep discounted price and the fact that we are running out of inventory do to the success of this sale. (the fact that the website didn't work and I didn't get everybody's order didn't help too much either;)

At any rate, the sale was so successful that I realized I needed to drop the price ongoing because $30.00 for a crib sheet is just to darned high!! One of the problems that I run into is that it takes three months to get inventory in, but it has to be paid for at production time. While this is a dicussion that would normally take place with investors or accountants- I'd rather find a way to keep the cost down and keep Fleece Baby a wholly owned/operated mom business.

One of the thoughts I had was to offer the sheets ongoing at a DEEP (1/2) off normal price for moms who would like to pre-order. I offer moms who would like to purchase their sheets early in the pregnancy but have them delivered at their due date. The sheets would still also be available at their normal price, but this would give me a great way to keep the inventory coming without having to sell part of Fleece Baby off or raise the price back up to $30.00 again.

I know its unusualy post- but, I'm just looking for some feedback from the source if this is something that you guys would consider is a good
bargian. Of course I'm open to any ideas - who can come up with ideas better than other moms??

Thanks!!!

Jen

I think that is a great idea! I would love to give more of these as baby gifts, but like you said, $30 is pretty steep. I usually only spend between $30-$50 on a baby gift (depending on my relationship with the mom) and 1 crib sheet doesn't seem like a very big gift. If I could give a crib sheet and some diapers, or a towel or something it just seems like more. (BTW....I love your product and recommend them to everyone! I just wish I had found them before I ever spent any $ on regular sheets!)

DrSally
10-04-2006, 08:24 AM
Yes, I think it's a good idea. Repeat customers who trust your company will buy. I would like to buy for baby showers, as the pp mentioned. How long would the person have to wait for the sheets? Yes, I would never pay $30 for a crib sheet, but $20 would be tops (which is why I ordered 2). $15 and I'd be buying them for every baby shower I had.

I was just looking at your website and although I don't need crib sheets, I'm in the market for baby blankets, as gifts, and was wondering if you are going to get more in stock? Also, do you monogram?

Jen,
Yes, for $15 I'd probably order a bunch and be willing to wait, for baby showers and stuff. I like to have some stuff in stock, but often $30 is just a little too pricey at my current budget.

Jenn98
10-04-2006, 10:54 AM
Honestly, I'm all about a good price. Especially since I much prefer to shop IRL so I can see and feel the quality of an item. I have heard about these sheets, but there's no way I'd pay $30 for a single sheet without being able to feel it first. (I'm also bummed that they don't coordinate with DD's bedding, but I'm more concerned with her staying warm so I have considered them.) I would def not mind waiting a long time to get my order (as long as I was told that upfront!!) to save a few bucks! I would def pay $15 for these sheets, or $30 for two. I also like the idea of packages - like a PNP sheet and a blanket for a certain price. Just an idea.

So, my long winded answer, is Yes, I'd preorder if the price was cheeper. :)

10-04-2006, 11:52 AM
i did order a pair and i was afraid to order something that i couldn't feel. let me tell you i really like them. i had a hard time with the price but i went for one pair. i don't know if i "could" do two with my budget.

as for waiting for them, if i knew this when i ordered i would be fine with that. it is when i order then i get a notification that i am on a wait list.

it would be nice for toddler beds. Great idea….

i hope it all works out.

Hi Jen - just wanted to chime in and pretty much agree with most of the comments that have already been posted. I think keeping your company wholly owned and mom operated is awesome - kudos to you.

I purchased two crib sheets and one pack and play sheet based on feedback from the BBB. I bought sight unseen simply because of the good comments I had read on board but usually really want to see something IRL especially if it is pricey. I found the sheets to be amazing and use the crib sheets continually over the (overpriced) expensive crib sheet that matched the ruffle and bumper. I would definitely pre-order sheets at $15 and wouldn't mind if I was told upfront there would be some wait. I also would love to give the pack and play sheet as gifts since the sheets that are available with standard PNPs are less than desirable.

In a HEARTBEAT I would buy twin bed sheets - two sets for each kiddo (any chance of that happening?? )

Hope this helps. Best of luck to you!

These are my favorite baby shower gifts! Because of the special code in this thread, I bought extra for future baby gifts!

At first, I too bought these sight unseen due to the posts of praise on the BBB, and I spent $30 for my first ones!! It was worth every cent - these sheets are VERY well constructed and CANNOT be pulled off the bed, plus the quality of the fleece is very high. It is a nice, thick fleece. Being a loyal customer, I think $15 is a STEAL! Count me in! I will continue to give them away!

DD personally used your crib sheets (she has 4) and she is now SO BUMMED they won't fit on her big-girl (twin) bed! Please tell me you are in the works for making twin sheets!!

I can personally attest that Jen is a really sweet, upstanding person. We WANT moms like you in business!! :)

I bought a sheet because of everyone raving about them, and becuase of the good deal being offered..... but i would TOTALLY buy another for gifts and i would also LOVE LOVE LOVE to have twin sheets! So I've talked with Jen and we are going to make a co-op bulk order.

Crib Sheets would be $12 and Pack and Play Sheets would be $10. PnP sheets never go on sale so this is a great deal folks!!

There is a $1 fee on each item to cover shipping to me and you would pay cheap shipping to you when I get the items in and packed up.

So you can email me through the boards or join the group. The link to the group is on the co-op board. Don't want to get in trouble. ;)

I'd like to place our first order in the next couple of weeks. That said we need 333 items order so it might be open longer. The best way to stay aprised would be to join the group. So far we only have about 10 orders so we have a looooong way to go. These prices are awesome though and you are saving on shipping too since Jen charges $8 to ship.

It will be at least a few weeks until Jen can set up pre ordering on her site. She may be reconsidering also if this works out. It would save her a lot of work I think. :)

Thanks!
