FAO Schwarz Jay-Jay Carry-All

Did anyone order this from FAO Schwarz about a month ago. I just opened mine (I know, it's been sitting here for a month and NOW I open it) and it doesn't look anything like a carry-all to me. I was expecting a case that was holding a bunch of figurines, but instead they shipped me a bunch of figurines in their own hanging cardboard (just like you'd see hanging in a store) and a rolled up Tarrytown playmat. I don't think this is the correct thing, but now it's been so long, I'm not sure. I can't find a link on the site anymore (I think they were discontinuing it and that's why it was so cheap), but I can't find a link anywhere.

I mean, carry-all means case, doesn't it? At least I think I saw a picture like that?

I received 12 items in separate packs and then the mat. I honestly know nothing about Jay-Jay and bought this as a gift, so any help would be appreciated!

Alhough, if you look up Jay Jay Carry-All, it looks like just the case is included (no figures), so maybe you got something even better?

I ordered the same thing. The set seems to be an FAO exclusive. DS loves it. Mine came with the separate figurines, and the mat, and a carrying case (a bit larger than a lunch box), and a few boxes of signs/wooden people.

The case is awesome. When we go out, we can take a few plane and a few thomas trains, all packed in the case. Since the trains are smaller, they don't stay in the compartments. It does not by any means hold the entire contents of the pakcage.

You should call FAO if you think something is missing. They told me they will be getting more in.

Thanks so much. I had found that link to just a case (with nothing in it) and wondered too if maybe I got something even better 'cause they ran out.

But, Nupe, after your description, it does sound like maybe they just forgot the case. So I just called and they said they were all out of that item, but they would try calling the manufacturer and seeing if they could get a case.

It's still a great deal. It looks like a lot of fun. And it looks like I can find a case somewhere else if I really want one, but it looks like the case would cost about as much as the whole set (it was a great deal!). So, I think I'm good.
