AND, not have to pay a million dollars for shipping???

The books only cost about $5 but it seems like all the
websites are charging over $5-6 to ship.

Can these books be purchased in a B&M store somewhere??

Thanks!!

I just got one at the Lakeshore store in Chicago while we were on vacation. Do you have one of those close to you? Maybe sign up on their website . . . I think they have offered free shipping before. I don't remember.

Hey Helen!

Here is a website that shows the books and markers.

The markers look like those Bingo markers that you
squish down and make a dot.

Carson has fun squishing down the markers to color
in the pictures. :)

Those look cool! What age are they appropriate for?

The box says for children over 3 years.

Just for choking hazard reasons? Do you think a 2 year old could do it?

Corie

Yes, it was for choking reasons.

I think it depends on the 2-year-old. My daughter could
have done it at two but my son probably would stamp his
arms. :)

Noah hates getting messy. There'd be no arm stamping :)

Thanks! Maybe I'll add them to Noah's ever-growing xmas list.

Alia just received these from friends this weekend. I had never heard of them before, but she *loves* them! I started looking online for more books (and to buy a few sets as birthday presents for parties we are going to) and found them at our local teacher's supply store. I will be heading there tomorrow to pick some up.

What a great idea for kids!

And as a follow up to the question from Caly, we don't have to be a teacher, right?

I've seen our local teacher's store just by driving
through town.

I would probably call an elementary school in your
area and ask the teachers where they go.

Anyone can go!! They have lots of cool stuff at
teachers stores.

I've bought reward charts and stickers and workbooks, etc.

Our teacher's store is huge and I love walking through it!!
It's usually a quick trip though since Knox tries to grab everything
and open it.

We went to the teacher's store and Carson picked out
2 new Do-a-Dot books. Our trip was cut short however by my
21-month-old son taking a huge dump in his diaper.

So, we paid for our purchases and I changed a stinky
diaper out in the car in the 105 degree heat.
That was totally awesome!! :)
