London Fog going out of business

I keep forgetting to post this! I was at their outlet last week 7 everything in the store is marked down 30-50%. The entire company is closing it's doors on October 1, so expect the prices to keep dropping as we get closer.
Got myself a beautiful 3-1 rainjacket with zip out lining for under $50. Happy hunting!

Actually, London Fog has been sold to Iconix (never heard of them) and they are drastically changing the brand/image. It looks like London Fog had been in bankruptcy tho. Here's link to the Forbes article: http://www.forbes.com/markets/2006/08/21/iconix-london-fog-0821markets13.html

Looks like they are going VERY high end -- the website is now populated with coats that are thousands of dollars. Way out of my budget. It is likely they'll be closing the outlets, so there may be deals to be found!

I went to a London Fog outlet about 7-8 months and there was "out of business" signs all over the place then. I just went last week and the store was still there. I'm not sure how long they will be going out of business for.

The one in Michigan is closing "in 27 days" or when all the merchandise is gone, whichever is first. At least according to the sales clerk yesterday.

Omg no :(. I grew up with London Fog coats. My grandma worked in the factory many, many years ago. Wow :(.
